Written on 18 May 2017 Arianespace successfully launches first SES hybrid satellite with wide beams and high throughput capability to serve airlines and WAAS payload to augment GPS GUIANA SPACE CENTER, KOUROU, 18 May 2017 -- SES (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) announced today that the SES-15 satellite was successfully launched onboard a Soyuz rocket from the Guiana Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana at 08:54 local time. This is SES`s first satellite to launch on a Soyuz rocket for a geostationary transfer orbit mission.
