Girl sexually assaulted in car in North York, police say

Police are looking for a man after a 17-year-old girl was dragged into a car and sexually assaulted in North York on Wednesday.The girl was approached by a man around 11:45 a.m., near York Mills Rd. and Leslie St., Toronto police said in a news release. He offered her a ride but she refused. She was allegedly dragged into the car and then sexually assaulted.She was able to break free and flee, police said. The suspect is described as being white, in his 20s with dirty blond hair, dressed in a button-up plaid shirt and blue jeans. Security cameras in the area captured pictures of what police believe to be the suspect’s car — a black sedan.
