Putin´s envoy meets Iran Leader´s representative in Tehran

A special envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with a representative of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in the Iranian capital. Alexander Lavrentiev, President Putin’s point man on Syria, visited with Ali Shamkhani, who is the secretary general of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) and is Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative at the SNSC, on Thursday.
