While you have to wait a while longer to actually play Call of Duty: WWII, you can now purchase various pieces of officially licensed merchandise connected to the upcoming shooter.The Call of Duty shop`s website now has a space dedicated to Call of Duty: WWII where you can buy items such as a Call of Duty: WWII-branded hoodie ($45) or t-shirt ($22). Also on sale is a `Wings for Victory` t-shirt ($22) and a field jacket ($45). Activision is also selling a G.I. duffle bag for $35. While the game will focus on the events in 1944 and 1945, the game will also `touch on` things that happened from 1940 to 1944 to `help set the stage for the narrative and establish the characters.` `It takes place in the European theater of conflict, at a time when the Allied forces were finally starting to gather strength on their march into Germany.
