Turkey Claims 1,000 Detained in Police Purge Are `Secret Imams` Involved In 2016 Coup

Turkish authorities claimed that they arrested more than a thousand `secret Imams` who were supporters of the cleric, Fethullah Gulen, and helped in the attempted coup in 2016 that aimed to overthrow President Tayyip Erdogan, according to Reuters.
