State spirit: Hope Christian, Valley, Valencia among champs

Hope Christian and the Pit is a successful partnership beyond just basketball. The Huskies’ dance team on Saturday night won the Class 1A-4A championship and was one of three metro-area squads that claimed a blue trophy as the New Mexico Activities Association’s state spirit competition came to a conclusion before a big crowd at the Pit.
