Switzerland Opens Investigation About Turkey Spying on Citizens

Swiss prosecutors on Friday said they had `concrete indications` that show political espionage of Turkish citizens living in Switzerland but refused to say who they were targeting, according to BBC News. The Swiss Foreign Minister informed his Turkish counterpart that Switzerland would be investigating any illegal intelligence activities over Turkey`s controversial referendum slated for next month. The referendum would give current President Recep Tayyip Erdogan far more power but in order for that to happen he would need the votes of Turks living in Turkey and the four million Turkish citizens living abroad.
