U.S. Senators Announce Bill To Tighten Sanctions Over Iran

A bill to tighten sanctions on Iran over its ballistic missile launches and non-nuclear activity was announced by U.S. senators Thursday, Reuters reported. The measure was co-authored by Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez and Republican Foreign Relations Chairman Bob Corker, said the report. It was also sponsored by 14 Democratic and Republican senators. The bipartisan bill would enact mandatory sanctions for anyone with trade relations or involvement in Iran`s ballistic missile program, said Reuters.
